What SITED is
SITED is a curated index of Swiss website inspiration. It collects the best web design from Switzerland, one site at a time: studios, hotels, museums, architects, brands, festivals and everything in between.
It is made for designers, developers and anyone who builds websites and wants real references, not a wall of pretty pictures.
Why only Swiss websites
Switzerland has a long tradition in graphic design and typography, from the Swiss grid to today’s type foundries. Its web design is just as good, but scattered across four languages and many small studios. SITED brings it together in one place.
How sites are chosen
Every website is picked by hand. We look for:
- a clear idea, carried through the whole site
- good typography and a strong layout
- details: motion, colour, photography, writing
- a site that is live and works on a phone
We do not take payment for inclusion, and there are no awards or rankings. The newest site is simply shown first.
What you get for each site
- screenshots on desktop, tablet and mobile
- the fonts it uses, with a page for each typeface
- the tech behind it: platform, framework, animation libraries
- its colour palette, from the interface and from the imagery
- tags for type, typography, layout, motion and feeling
- the agency, studio or designer who made it, when we know
Credits
Every website links to the original. When we know who designed or built it, we name them and link to their work. Agencies have their own page with all their sites on SITED.
